I promise to post more pictures, stories, and updates in the next day or two. For now I am tired. I did not sleep the night before thanks to nerves and now the medicine makes me a bit drowsy. I am feeling good, just sore from the surgery, but up and walking and am considering asking my doctor if I can go home tomorrow. Christian is healthy and doing very well. He is eating, sleeping, and pooping like a champ!!!

Check (LIST), Please

Had a slow morning today since we did not have to rush out of the house by 8:05am for the gym (on gym leave for a couple of weeks, darn it-hate it when I have to miss the gym-yeah right!), but suddenly realized it was 9am and we did have to leave shortly there after!

Dropped the boys off at preschool at 9:30 (ran my mouth way too long for a mom with a to-do list)-CHECK

Drove back up towards the house to China Town for a mani/pedi (Hey I have my priorities) and it didn't matter that I talked too much, it did not open until 10am (guess it's only 9 on Saturdays)-CHECK

Went to Kohl's to look for a robe for the hospital, they did not have what I am looking for but just for looking-CHECK

Went back to the boys school for their Thanksgiving Day skit and lunch-CHECK

Left school and headed to Costco for a few items including a book to read just in case I have a free moment and to see about a robe-CHECK

Struggled through Costco, I am either having some mild contractions or this baby is lost (there is only one way out kiddo), but either way it doesn't matter. I have stuff to do-CHECK

Did not get gas first, so of course I forgot it when I left (I get gas every Monday how could I forget)- no CHECK

Stopped by the house to drop off my few things (no robe though)-CHECK

Went to Target to look for yet another robe (does it really matter at this point) and to look for a small Christmas tree for the boys room (Connor asked for one so I wanted to get it, but don't tell Mark-he says we have a small one in the attic we could use, which we do, but it is 8 years old and was a cheap piece of poo when he bought it back then, but he won't through it away. I will trade it out on trash day)-CHECK

No Christmas tree, but I did find a robe ( not exactly what I want but it was clearance for $6 and got some "CARS" tattoos in the dollar spot for the stockings)-BONUS CHECK

Headed back to school to pick up the boys-CHECK

Dropped boys off at the hourly daycare so I could get a few more things done-CHECK

Made it home, did not pass go, did not collect $200-headed straight up the stairs to get the dirty laundry-CHECK

Packed up the remaining fall decor-

Started 2nd load of laundry-CHECK
Put the baby's carseat back together after washing the cover (at least I hope it is right, a man must have designed that because a mom would have made it WAY easier)-CHECK

Cleaned my room, got it baby ready-CHECK

Sort of sorted the rest of the Christmas decor so my mom can finish-CHECK (sort of?)

Started dinner so I can feed the boys in the car-CHECK

Turned on the computer so I could get Cindy's address to mail her birthday card and read an email which made me shed a tear-freaking hormones!-CHECK

Unloaded the piece of crap dishwasher that nearly falls out when you open it and reloaded it with breakfast dishes and tidyed the kitchen up-CHECK

Went to pick up the boys from daycare and fed them dinner in the car-CHECK

Took Connor to Tiny Tigers class (now on M/W instead of T/T but not sure how this is gonna work, makes for a long day for Connor)-CHECK

Came home, fed the boys more because they were still hungry-CHECK

Gave them a "wipey" bath because I was too worn out to deal with a bath-CHECK

Put Colton to bed-CHECK

Put Connor to bed-CHECK

Started another load of laundry-CHECK

Put Connor to bed, again!-CHECK

Cleaned up the kitchen again-CHECK

Talked to Mark on the phone while he is driving home from Oklahoma-CHECK

Put Connor to bed again, threatened him with his life-CHECK,CHECK

Type this post-CHECK-well almost

Gonna fold a load of laundry and call it a day-CHECK-hopefully

What to Buy

I have saved enough PB paychecks and birthday money to buy something good. Problem is I am torn about what to get. I can either buy:
-Part 1 of the camera I want (I say part because there will be additional lenses and what-not that will have to be added later)
-Leather Ottoman coffee table I want for the family room (I really want to get this while I work at PB incase I can't/don't go back to work)
-A new stroller (I think this is my last choice because I do have one that will work for now and I can continue to save for this)
-Or I could easily spend the money on knick-knacks for the house-there are several pieces of decorative accessories I want not to mention I EVERY YEAR I want a new tree and new Christmas decor
So please cast your vote and help me decide!!!!

Baby C update

Well I am STILL prego!!!!
The pregnancy is my excuse for being a little MIA in recent days from blog-land. Not that I am tired, but seriously stressed. I can't quite seem to get my thoughts in order, even enough to get them typed out. I don't even know that I can now, so this may be just a bunch of non-sense rambling (more so to myself than to any reader).
Let me first just say that there are NO more pictures. The sight of me is just darn SCARY!! My face is as round and fat as a beach ball. But I guess it balances out my double beach ball butt. The next 9 months of loosing all this weight, plus the left overs from Colton that I never lost, ought to be real fun! Yeah for me!
OK, so my stresses....where to begin. The last week and a half has been all about getting ready. I have washed car seat covers, swing covers, carriers, blankets, and what-not. I have mostly got everything put back together. Some of that crap is tricky and it has been almost 2 years since I have used it. All of this is a slow process because after a load or two, or half a project, I am tired. Or I have to go break up a fight or listen to a whiny kid, but that is a whole other stress issue!
This week I am stressing about my parents coming. Is everything clean enough? Did I wash the guest room sheets yet? Plus I have dogs and they don't and I know that grosses them out. My mom keeps a much cleaner house than I do. I have quite the "daddy do" list going, which I always feel guilty about because Pops needs a break. But lets face it, my honey can't really "do" that much on my list. I scheduled the exterminator, but did not get the carpets cleaned. I had every intention of getting a plumber here this week, but failed there too. I am going to be tired and moody, so I hope I can be nice. I get cabin fever easily, and will being in the house for almost 2 weeks straight is sure to add to my moodiness.
Today I am stressing about finishing everything. I woke up in a cleaning mood, but the boys did not. Connor has a bit of a snotty nose so I can't take them to daycare. I gave them a new toy this morning which entertained them long enough for me to get dressed and change my bedding. When they were bored with that, the box kept them busy so i could vacuum my room. Mark is out of town for the rest of the week, so I won't get much done at night. He has been great about coming home and doing bedtime so that I can either do a small project or rest (OK so it's mostly rest because I am very tired by 7pm). I have to work on Saturday and maybe on Sunday. If not, I need him to get the Christmas stuff out of the attic and help me put that up. I have to make a big grocery store visit to stock up. Monday the boys have a Thanksgiving program at school, so that will take up the most of the day. Mark has to miss it to go to Oklahoma for a meeting. Then Tuesday I want to do something special with the boys. Mark will be off that day so we can have some good family time before all the last minute packing and cleaning. Somewhere in there I want to get 1 last pedicure!!
I just got off the phone with the folks from anesthesia at the hospital. They told me I was having a block (slightly different from an epidural) and it gets put in your back once you get into the OR versus in your pre-op room. That sounds very intimidating to me!! So, now add surgery panic to my list of stresses. I have tried not to think about that too much. I seriously almost cried on the phone with the nurse. I hate hospitals and tend to freak out in the operating room. I have a hard time breathing laying flat on my back and add being strapped to a table to that....freaky! Plus being awake, even numb, while they cut you open plays some nasty tricks on your mind. Mark does not get that. It has been the cause of fights, twice now, because he believes I am out of it. So I am not looking forward to argument number 3 when he won't talk Hollywood gossip with me while the doctor's do their thing so that my mind is preoccupied with mindless BS instead of what is happening behind the curtain!
OK, so enough of my complaining. The boys are almost done eating lunch so once I get them down for naps, I MUST MUST MUST clean my floors. They are some kind of nasty!!!! I do have lots to blog about, so I will try and catch up soon.

Safety First

Our house has a LOT of tile! This could be good or bad. Good for little boys and their bikes, who have quite the path to drive around (far more than just around the kitchen island or table). Bad for ME who has to vacuum and mop it-almost daily. Even worse because it is white. Who in their right mind puts almost 500 square feet of white tile in a house??? Let me answer that....it would be a MAN. Did I mention it even has white grout, well it's suppose to be white grout. I recently had it professionally cleaned, even made then come back and redo it....such a waist of money. I should just have it re grouted or better yet ripped up! But the tile itself is a whole other post, I am getting side tracked now.
This is about safety and how the boys love helmets. Connor has to wear one when he rides his bike. The bike now stays outside, but the helmet always ends up inside. Colton has taken it over. Lucky for him, he is getting one for Christmas that is his size.
Connor outside with neighbor Milla proudly wearing his

Notice Colton has it on here, not Connor who is standing on top of a slide in the background, no doubt getting ready to jump off!

So it really doesn't do any good when it is not buckled

Or if it doesn't fit

Or if it is on backwards

Clearly not safe here...for several reasons

Connor sort of has the helmet on-too bad the Spider Man mask is on sideways so he can NOT see a thing!!

I was too busy laughing at him to be concerned. He's pretty close to the ground, how hurt could he really get right?!

I am not even going to comment on this one!
OK, 1 comment....
I do try and stop this action-too scary even for me!

I NEED....

1 day off, just 1 DAY off

that doesn't involve me getting up before 7 am to get kids up and fed and rushed out the door

or picking them up at 2pm to have a cranky afternoon because they didn't sleep their usual amount at preschool (if at all)

or having to use it to grocery shop or clean a bathroom (OK so that part is a bit of an exaggeration)

or without having to go the Barn for work

Just 1 day off to do nothing or a project or spend it with my hubbs before I embark on not being able to be alone for more than 3 hours for the next 6 months

Ok, so spending it with Mark is a stretch too because if I were to get a day off he will have to take care of the boys

Why don't they make sick days for moms or PTO in general? That only comes in minutes or occassional hours or if you lie to your better half and tell him you have to poop so you can text or read or take a power nap on the pot (most men won't bother you while you take a dump)

Halloween's Past

2006-
Connor's 1st-my little baldy...I think he looks just the same now but with hair
Connor was a shark. And I remember thinking when I bought that costume that the prices were ridiculous (and I only paid $24, which is nothing compared to alot).

2007
Connor was a Spider but even then wanted to be SpiderMan

2008
Connor's 1st choice this year was a FireMan
Colton's 1st Halloween-you guessed it-a shark

I can't wait to see what the boys pick out for themselves next year. But I can almost guarantee that Baby C will be a.....SHARK!!

Trick or Treat

Halloween was an exciting day at the Lenzer household. I got home from work at the Barn at 3 and Connor must have asked me 60 times if it was time to go Trick or Treating. I can only imagine how many times he asked Mark that morning. But we stayed busy and then made a Halloween dinner and took pictures while waiting for dark!
Mental Note: next year Colton can just go as a sticker book if all else fails

(Bad Picture)
Mummy Hotdogs for dinner

I am still confused as to where Precious' pumpkin costume has disappeared to, she wears it every year. This year she sported her Tasmanian Devil hat instead, not near as cute, but she wears it well. Frisco is not that dumb...no costumes for him!!

Mommy, the nun
Connor, Spider-Man/Peter Parker
Colton, the Spider

Me as a nun-pretty funny
Me as a knocked-up nun...more like it
I was/am always breaking the rules

Ready and waiting

Mark always gets the good pictures....so unfair!

Getting 2 excited kids to sit still and look at the camera at the same time is freaking impossible

The boys with our neighbors
Milla, Hello Kitty
Amelie, the LadyBug

Another option
Incredible Hulk

Bedtime at last in their Monster PJ's
(they glow in the dark)
