Funny Sayings

Driving in the car this morning, beautiful clear sky, airplane flying above...

Connor-is my daddy on that airplane?
Me- no honey, daddy's not on a plane today. He is in Chicago.
Connor- Oh. Where's Cago?
Me- Chicago is in the state of Illinois.
Connor- Oh yeah, that's where Santa Clause lives
Me- No honey, Santa Clause lives in the North Pole
Connor-Oh. OK.

A couple of hours later on the way home

Connor-Mommy, is Santa Clause coming out to play today?
Me-No honey, not today.Santa is still resting from Christmas.
Connor-Can it snow so he won't be tired anymore and can come over and play?
Me-Maybe later
Connor-OK.

Funny Sayings

At nearly 3, Connor can certainly keep me laughing with the crazy things he says (his mis-sayings really). I need to write them down more so I can actually remember them correctly. His latest fetish is changing clothes and changing again and again and again. I can't keep up with the laundry because he is going through several outfits a day, which I do find so humorous for someone who likes to be naked as much as he does. I will put him to bed in one pair of pajamas and when he gets up he is in another. Sometimes during all the exchanges things get turned inside out.

Connor- mommy my ______ (fill in the blank) is inside out.

me- Connor what would like me to do?

Connor- outside this in for me

Connor's funny sayings

I have bad news......

I have an elephant in one ear and a chicken in the other! No wonder I have been feeling under the weather. I just thought it was a cold but Dr. Connor told me otherwise.

Kids say the funniest things

Connor is at that age where he makes the funniest statements. I have thought of blogging them before but didn't know if they would "read" as funny as they really are when you hear them first hand. But after what he said to me yesterday, I just decided to start a FUNNY SAYINGS segment.

We were in the car yesterday headed to the gym, the radio was on with the volume down low. Funky Town was playing. Normally this is the song that I turn up and sing and dance to with the fist microphone and all. The boys laugh...we just a great time to this song. I hadn't even had the opportunity to turn it up since we had just gotten going in the car, when I pulled up to the red light and Connor said "mommy, I want to go to Funky Town with you".

I will put up some of his other funny sayings shortly when my memory is not being forced to try and thnk of them!!
