Today is the Day

In case you're confused

It's the day BEFORE turkey day

but more importantly 

The day BEFORE Christian's

1st BIRTHDAY

YAY for him

BOO for me

It's a good thing I have plenty to do today

To keep my mind off of having my last first

I have a pecan pie to make

Turkey cupcakes to bake

Dressing to prep

A birthday gift to put together

Banners to hang

And I need to go somewhere this morning to busy the boys

Mall, gym, or park

Maybe all 3

I have so much to be Thankful for

my family

my healthy, active little boys

jobs and food and a house

It often seems we forget to be thankful for the basics

I am so very thankful for my sweet friends

The ones that support me no matter what I say or do

For those who have been around a long time

And for new ones I am trying to make

And for bloggy ones I have never met

I am thankful for my parents who are always supportive

and for such a strong sister

And in my thankful mood

I am thanking God for the cries I hear coming up the stairs
