The BATMAN Birthday Bash

We had The BatMan Birthday Party at Infinite Bounds Gymnastics Center.
Worth EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY.
The kids (and adults) loved it, didn't have to decorate or clean or clean up!! Kids came at a certain time and left at a certain time. Everyone went home worn out!! LOVED it!!

My camera was blurry most of the day, of course!
Left to Right-
Sophia and Ben, Colton and Connor, Cody and Nathan
Milla and Amelie (on the end)
Ilan (in between the girls) and his younger brother Castel was still running around
cousin Carson did not make it into the picture either
Pretty good turn out, all of Connor's BFF's and they all have siblings the same age as Colton

Christian and Amy
First time she got to hold him since she has been recovering from surgery

The babies had a good time too
Our neighbor, baby Trace, is just 6 weeks younger
Too bad they are not going to get to grow up buddies!!

Ben

Connor and Ilan taking a slide

A couple good bouncy houses/slides

The foam pit was definitely the high light!

Told ya the adults loved it too! But it was a bitch to get out of

Oh yes, we live in the BatMan cape these days

Jumping off the trampoline into the foam pit...FUN!

And we only had one collision

My BIL, Jon and nephew Carson
(They just had a new baby boy today)

Even Nannie got in on the jumping action
NICE!!

Our lovely neighbors Ronnie and Johnette
with baby Trace and Amelie

The kiddos getting ready to play a few games

The water gun game was a HIT and Connor's favorite

They also played an animal game. Here they are acting like frogs I think

They also played a parachute game but I don't have photos of that. I had to feed Christian so I gave the camera to Mark, which means I got a big fat NOTHIN!
Love you babe!

Cake time
That's right, wear em out, then load up with sugar to send em home
BTW, I did NOT bring the pink balloons

Did not go home with a crumb of cake at all...
Thank you Lord for saving me from that temptation
If my fave cousin, Cindy, would ever come help me bake I would not have to buy cakes

Nathan and Cody with Daddy Jon
Cody seems to be enjoying some icing

Samantha with Sophia
So sweet

Fernando and Bethany with Castel

Connor and his God Parents
BIL Jon and BFF Amy

At home afterwards opening presents

Also enjoying the day with us was Nanna and Pappa Lou, Aunt Barbie and Uncle Bob. Uncle Lou and Aunt Joan came by as well. Colton's Godmother Linda was there as well.
I took Connor to Toys R Us on Monday to pick out his gift from us. He got a few action figures, Batman and Spiderman of course. He was also picking out gifts for his 5th birthday. Slow down boy, holy crap! He wanted to get one of his new toys out of the packaging this morning. I told him I would do it in a minute. He did not want to wait I guess because he did it. When he showed it to me he said "I am getting to be so big"
Yes you are Con Man, yes you are!
He loves to do somer sets now. Pretty sure he is talking about somersaults?!
I have had to call him Simon for 3 days now (from Alvin and the Chipmunks) and he sleeps in sunglasses because Simon wears glasses.
Caught him singing Beonce's "All the Single Ladies" (watch out COCO) from the chipmunks.
However he says they are not saying "All the single ladies" He says "I wanna sing later"
I think 4 is gonna be our year!

And if you read this, I expect you to sign up to be a follower....
um friends, MIL, SIL, sissy, mom,
Love you all!!!

Happy Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY CONNOR LOU!!!!
I LOVE YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING!!
Connor made his entrance into this world butt first....
and it so fits his personality!

Connor's first birthday
I was sad this day to see my baby enter a new stage, toddler.
I find my self more sad today as he is officially a kid!! Maybe it's because I know I will not have any more babies. Maybe it's because I am just a blink away from sending him off to college. I am not sure, but my heart aches. I am excited to see him grow and mature and fearful at the same time that I will screw him up! I am no mother of the year contender, that's for sure.

(Geez, can I ever get back to this weight? And I still wasn't thin)
This is the problem with walks down memory lane

This was around his 2nd birthday. For some reason I could not locate those pictures...whoops!

The 3rd birthday....CARS of course

And now at 4.....

Connor has had the best 2 days ever. We had his birthday party yesterday
(more to come on that) and today he was the STAR at school. I took cupcakes in to share with his class. He got to wear a birthday hat, which went well with his batman outfit, cape included! He even got to be the line leader, lucky man! Then after school we went to the toy store so he could pick out his present. After carefully selecting several batman and spiderman action figures, we went to the playground to play. We met up with several friends there (some planned, some not) and it was like another party.
He had a great day up until the final minutes before bedtime when all the Lenzer boys melted out at the same time. That makes for difficult sharing and the ownership of said action figures were threatened.
Here's hoping that 4 is better than 3!!!!
PS...
I'm still a whore, a chocolate whore. When are the candy holidays gonna end? Never gonna look like the above picture at this rate!

What I've Learned This Week

This week I have learned...
Truth be told, I haven't learned all that much this week. I have been too stressed and busy!
Ok, so here is what I learned
-I am way more sad and emotional about my baby Connor turning 4 than I was about him turning 1!!!
And that is the main thing I have been stressed about. His birthday is tomorrow, but his party is this afternoon so there will be lots more on this topic.
What have you learned this week?
Random Crap...
-I haven't posted or read any posts this week because my computer sucks!!! It takes about 30 minutes to even get my email checked. If/when we sell the house I can get a new one. So here's hopin this thing lasts with out me throwing it out the back door (and I am not kidding). I am not above that kind of behavior. Almost purchased one from QVC this morning but Mark came in the room!
-I will catch up this next week if at all possible
-I got my hair did this week. I had to try a new colorist and stylist, as they had both left the salon and I could no longer afford them. I love it!!! So nice not to have greys staring at you in the mirror, mocking your very existence.
-Planning a trip home to visit my folks/family at the end of the month
-Lowered the price of the house last weekend with hopes and prayers the right buyer will come along before this tax credit ends next month. Had 3 showings last week and 1 scheduled this afternoon. Keep praying blogging peeps....need all the prayers I can get! Still haven't had the right buyer, OBVIOUSLY!
-I will be an aunt again by Tuesday...can't wait to meet my new nephew
-I'm a whore...a chocolate whore!!

Spring Break 2010

We (ok I) kicked off spring break 2010 week with a spring break pedicure, and my only break from the big boys. I took them to Adventure Kids (hourly drop off) and Christian and I went to China town for some toe lovin'. My feet were in desperate need of attention. So I just ran to the nail place in the parking lot of the daycare. I remembered when I walked in the door that I was not a fan of the place, but a pedicure can't really be bad, some are just better than others.
We spent Monday afternoon at the park. I don't have pictures to prove it, but we were there enjoying the sun.
Tuesday the weather was a bit cooler and cloudy so we hung out inside that morning. We spent some time in our arts and crafts room making pringle can piggy banks.

The finished results are great, and the cans are filling up quickly. The boys can find coins anywhere.

That afternoon we went shoe shopping. Stride Right was BOGO half and the boys needed their spring/summer sandals and new crocs. This is Connor's pair with his new Batman jibbit. With their wide feet, we are very limited where we can shoe shop, so I braved the crowds in the tiny store and hit the outlet location. I got the big boys sandals and Colton a pair of crocs there (they did not have Connor's size) so I needed a 4th pair so I went ahead and bought the baby a pair of sandals. I really think it was my first pair of baby shoes. I have always let the boys go barefoot until a year old, mainly because I LOVE their feet. But the stinking sandals were so cute that I couldn't help myself. We then ran over to the croc store and got Connor a new pair. So 5 pair of shoes for about $120...not to bad right?!

Wednesday morning the boys decorated them selves (or each other, I am not sure which) with the markers while I fed Christian. Geez... I can't leave them alone for a single minute!

Colton used/ate an ENTIRE tube of chapstick. Should make his insides smooth and his lips and face kissable.

We spent the beautiful afternoon at the park with friends Ilan and Castel

I would look up to check on a boy and it would take a minute, as everyone was dressed in green for St Patty's. That why I try to put the boys in the same or similar shirts or a bright color. It makes them easier to locate in a hurry.

Christian enjoyed the sunshine too after his snooze

Connor was suppose to be in time out, but everyone joined him
(ILan, Connor, Colton, and Castel)

Thursday we found ourselves at the zoo with half the state of Texas!! For goodness sakes, can't you people go somewhere else? We went with BFF's Ilan and Castel again. We love hanging out with them but Ilan and Connor go to school on opposite days so this was a special week.

Looking for the tiger

Sweet Castel

My little ones in our new stroller which I
will have to explain later. But
I do love it!

Sweet Kisses

Friday Connor went over to Ben's house and tried to catch up on some laundry. Daddy came home that night and I mentally checked out, as I always do about 30 seconds after he walks in the door. Kind of makes me feel sorry for the guy. He works all week and then comes home on the weekend and has to take over here. NICE!
Saturday the weather turned cold. We just hung around the house. Hubby went to the grocery store for me and then I went to Target for my outing. I wanted to go to dinner that night, but we don't have sitters. At the last minute my MIL called to say that her plans had been cancelled so she came over to sit with the kiddos. Mark and I had already eaten so we went to Brio for a glass of wine and dessert. We had the best piece of cheesecake EVER! Then we walked over to Cru. Can't wait to go back there again. I had asked off of work for the weekend because we were suppose to go to OKC, but with the bad weather we decided not to go. It has worked out though because Mark and I needed a couple of hours for just us.

Don't know if you can see this or not, but I snapped this picture right before I went to bed Saturday night. A pretty heavy dusting of snow that we were not even suppose to get.
Then woke up to all this Sunday morning...

Crazy Spring Break weather.
But now I am ready for my break-HA
Actually what I really want is an afternoon at the spa.
Are you reading this Mark?!?!
What I really, really, REALLY want is an afternoon at the spa!
Right now Colton is getting his special time with Daddy. I think they headed to the mall to play at the bookstore and check out the new stuff at Disney and ride the carousel.
Good Times!!!
